Lent is a privileged time for conversion and the purification of our hearts on the journey that leads us to the Lord’s Easter. For this reason, the monastic communities of Vallbona and Poblet invite you to spend a few days in a spiritual retreat, guided by the key elements of our tradition.
We offer you a few days of contemplation, prayer, and spiritual accompaniment, where each of you will be able to participate in the community liturgy, in the guided reading of the Holy Scriptures, and in an introduction to the Benedictine Rule and the foundations of the contemplative life.
We wish to share the treasures that fill the life of our monasteries with the young people of today’s world, as we are convinced that prayer is of utmost importance in advancing along the path of Christian life and in bringing order and deep meaning to our lives.
We look forward to welcoming you to the Guesthouse of Santa Maria de Vallbona on March 21, 22, and 23.
